Workshop Overview
Intimidated by the e‐world of social media? It’s here to stay whether we like it or not, so you can ignore it or embrace it . . . but only by embracing it (even just a little) can you leverage these new and very powerful FREE tools to help get your message out and promote your organization.
Join us for an informative hands‐on workshop on the social media venues of Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In. We’ll go over the basics for how to create an account, the features and options in each of the sites, hands‐on exercises of how to participate and use each venue, learn about social media etiquette, and some potential risks and pitfalls in the social media space so that you can protect yourself and your organization.
Sometimes just having someone walk you through the tools can make them 10x less intimidating, so come and have some fun exploring these new tools as we navigate through them together as a class.
Download the ASAE-Hawaii Social Media 101 Workshop Brochure for more information and to sign up.
