The objectives of the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee (ASEC) are to:

• To research, develop and promote new assurance and advisory services for AICPA members in public practice;
• Comment on issues impacting the assurance and advisory profession;
• Provide strategic direction for the management of existing assurance products and services.
