Small Business Outsourcing clients are those clients with whom ITK
has had a "traditional" client-service provider relationship.
These clients generally outsource all of their IT functions and
ITK provided services as requested by the client.

These clients represent the core of ITK’s business.
ITK truly worked in partnership with these clients and generally
filled the Corporate Information Officer or Information Manager role
for these clients. ITK usually provided a more comprehensive set of
services to these clients the projects undertaken have had a direct
operational impact upon the client.

JABSOM contracts with ITK to fill its Information Manager and
Knowledge Manager roles--focused on organization-wide business performance
management processes. ITK also provides project management services for
various application development projects with a focus on business
requirements management, user acceptance management, and systems
deployment planning.
Services provided to JABSOM include:
- Business performance management (budgeting and financial reporting) - strategy development,
information architecture, implementation oversight and project management, user acceptance
management.
- Business process modeling and redesign covering: budgeting, commitments management,
contracts & grants management, fixed assets, and service contracts.
- Intranet application development support for various adjunct financial systems covering:
accounts receivable, cash receipts, commitments management, space management, and
service contracts.
- IT organizational development - IT organization structure development, staffing plan
and position description development, and recruitment support.
- IT planning - IT infrastructure requirements analysis, information management planning,
and IT project oversight and coordination.
- Systems Risk Management - HIPAA compliance assessment.
- Request-for-Proposal (RFP) support - RFP preparation, RFP distribution,
vendor proposal evaluation support, and vendor contract review for BPM software
and implementation services procurement.
ITK’s relationship with JABSOM covered from 2002 to 2006.

Enterprise Augmentation
Like the Small Business Outsourcing clients, these clients
are those with whom ITK has had more of a "traditional" client-service
provider relationship. These clients generally had their own IT resources
and leveraged ITK to augment their staff for special projects.

Hawaiian Telcom Communications, Inc. (HTC) |

HTC bought out the Verizon operations serving the Hawaii market. Verizon had
previously bought out the operations of a locally managed provider that moved all of the
back office support processes to the mainland. HTC now had to reestablish all of the back
office functions in Hawaii. ITK helped HTC with the integration between its mobile phone service
billing system and its general ledger system by providing the following services:
- Desktop application development support for transformation and reconciliation of data from
the service billing system into journal entries to be put into the general ledger system.
ITK worked with HTC’s revenue assurance department in early 2006.

PwC is one of the "big four" international public accounting firms.
PwC engaged ITK to redesign a database that supported the recording and analysis
of cash receipts and disbursements for a litigation support project.
- Desktop application redesign - data normalization, user interface and reports
design, data migration from previous application.
Many of ITK’s current staff trace their professional roots back to PwC’s Honolulu Office
so our staff’s relationship with PwC dates back to the mid-1990s. However, PwC’s Honolulu Office
first became a client of ITK’s in 2004.
