Small Business Outsourcing

Small Business Outsourcing clients are those clients with whom ITK has a “traditional” client-service provider relationship. These clients generally outsource all of their IT functions and ITK provides services as requested by the client.

 
BT Trading (BT)
  BT Trading is a Security Exchange Commission (SEC) regulated hedge fund management company. ITK provides application development and application maintenance services including:
  • Desktop application development for comparative financial reporting, and standardized operations reporting

ITK has been working with BT Trading since 2006.


  Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary (NMPM) www.nmplimited.com
  NMPM is a cemetery and mortuary that sells cemetery plots/niches, burial services, and funeral services. ITK provides application development and application maintenance services including:
  • Business process redesign.
  • Desktop application development for an office/accounting support system: accounts receivable and cash receipts.

ITK has been supporting NMPM's office modernization efforts since 2003.


Middle Market Partnership

These clients represent the core of ITK’s business. ITK truly works in partnership with these clients and generally fills the Corporate Information Officer or Information Manager role for these clients. ITK usually provides a more comprehensive set of services to these clients and the projects undertaken have a direct operational impact upon the client.

 
Napili Kai Beach Resort (NKBR)

  NKBR is a hotel-condo management company on the island of Maui. ITK provides IT planning, vendor management, and application development services to NKBR, including:
  • IT Planning - IT strategic plan and technical infrastructure requirements.
  • Desktop application development supporting a travel agent incentive program.
  • Request-for-Proposal (RFP) support - RFP preparation, RFP distribution, vendor proposal evaluation support, and vendor contract review for a new property management system and new accounting system.

Napili Kai first contracted with ITK in 2005.


  Narcotics Enforcement Division (NED)
State of Hawaii, Department of Public Safety
  NED monitors compliance with and enforces the State of Hawaii’s prescription management program (PMP). NED licenses all medical practitioners and pharmacies in Hawaii to be able to write and/or fill narcotics prescriptions. Pharmacies are also required by law to submit filled prescription data to NED on a regular basis.
  • IT Planning - technical infrastructure for Web site and extranet.
  • Business process modeling and redesign - identifying the necessary additions and changes to PMP processes with the change to Web-based interaction with practitioners and pharmacies.
  • Web site development for an extranet supporting user registration and distributed management, pharmacy data submission, patient alerts management, and report requests & distribution.
  • Desktop application development corresponding to Web site extranet functions.

ITK began supporting NED’s automation of its PMP processes in 2006.


  Suemori & Inouye, Inc. (S&I)
  S&I is a third party administration firm which designs and administers qualified retirement plans for over 800 clients. ITK provides IT planning and vendor management services to S&I, including:
  • IT Planning - Web site and client extranet (forms/document distribution, data exchange, and messaging).
  • Request-for-Proposal (RFP) support – RFP preparation, RFP distribution, vendor proposal evaluation support, and vendor contract review for the building of S&I Web site and client extranet.

ITK has been a client of Suemori & Inouye’s since 2005, and began helping S&I with its technology initiatives in 2006.
